Hi, I’m Charlie — founder of The Rebellious Dog, your go-to for professional pet sitting and training in Oro Valley, Arizona and the greater Tucson area.

I was born and raised in Florida, where my passion for animals began early. I grew up raising and showing horses, which laid the foundation for a lifetime of compassionate and responsible animal care. I earned my business degree from the University of Central Florida and spent nearly two decades in the corporate world before returning to what truly brings me joy — working with animals.

For the past six years, I’ve been immersed in dog training and pet sitting, collaborating with expert trainers and building deep knowledge of canine behavior. My own dog Clyde — the original “rebellious dog” — and I have achieved advanced trick titles, the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification, and have explored agility, scent work, and barn hunt sports. We most recently obtained our certificate for therapy work through the alliance of therapy dogs.

My mission is to provide dependable, experienced pet care and training in Oro Valley, Marana, and the Tucson area, with a focus on safety, structure, and meaningful connection.
